Artunita is a platform at the intersection of social media and marketplace, allowing artists, galleries and art lovers to showcase, promote and trade artworks. This policy explains how we collect and process personal data when you use our app or website.
Data we collect
We differentiate between user roles (artists, galleries, art lovers, guests): • Registration & profile: name, email, password (optionally with 2FA). Artists/galleries also provide art style and biography for their public profile. • Marketplace functions: for sales we collect financial data (account details), orders, sales statistics, commission overviews. • Algorithm & personalization: we use your preferences and interactions for our "Trend Algorithm" to show you personalized content. • Interaction: uploaded works, comments, likes, follower lists, chat messages between users. • Guests: technically necessary data only.
Recipients of data
Payment providers (PayPal, Stripe, Twint, credit cards), IT/hosting providers, optionally Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) if you link accounts.
Legal basis
We process data primarily in Switzerland and the EEA. Transfers to third countries (especially USA via payment providers or social media integrations) occur under the Data Privacy Framework. Processing is based on the Swiss FADP, the EU GDPR (Art. 6(1)(a), (b), (f)) and CCPA/CPRA for US users.
Your rights
Under applicable law (FADP, GDPR, CCPA) you have the right to: access stored data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), data portability, and (US users) opt-out of "sale" of personal data.
